Winter is here, it is cold, wet and to some the misery of the year, but to me it is one season I love, mainly because of the fashion side of it, there is so much more you can do in terms of laying up, adding textures that complement each other while keeping warm of course.

Now if you have been following this magazine for a while, you very well know it has been smart/formal style focused. But we here at The Chapter have decided to change it up and for this article and more to come, we will be putting more casual and urban styles out there, not everyone loves suits as much as we do.

This article is focusing one item that really stood out to us and you wouldn’t usually be something we would add to the shopping cart, you probably guessed by now but it is indeed the boots.

Boots are a winter essential and work for so many looks, from Chelsea boots to high-top military style, these change up that game a bit, being that they are in fact white, it seems like a crazy choice I know but the images speak for themselves.

The boots in question work well with most casual and urban styling, from cargo pants and bomber jackets to blue jeans, roll necks and trench coats.  they just add that standout feature we like to have with an outfit. Now you may think white in winter is a dangerous move, but these boots are made from rubber with a wool lining to keep those toes warm, easy to clean and very comfortable to wear. Josh is wearing a size 10 which doesn’t look over Chucky for his slim build, which some boots can do, you don’t want that clown shoes look when you step out of the house.
