AMBIENCE
This beautiful bright open restaurant is a stone’s throw from
oxford street, furnished with modern décor, simple tones and birch wood trees
that go from floor to ceiling it gives you a tranquil earthy feel that feels
like your miles away from the centre of London, even though this is a very busy
and popular restaurant, it is very catering to the ears, with a nice hum to it
and homely additions to the décor of flowers and a fire at the rear, the staff
where attentive and helpful, given that the restaurant was very busy
FOOD
Food and drink on offer comes in the form of a simple
yet elegant buffet located on the opposite side of the restaurant, a drink
meaning offering Mocktails, Juices, Alcohol and soft drinks and also a starter
menu with a couple of option is available if you wanted a starter, including
a rather nice Caramelized mushroom tostada, presented beautifully and well
portioned for a starter.
The mains are chosen by you at the buffet table and
are then priced on the weight, it a fair system and you get a good amount for
the price
The food available is all vegetarian with vegan
options, but these are clearly mark with dietary needs, around half of the
options are vegan so there is a nice amount to choose from including salads,
curries, pastries and roasted vegetables, as well as condiments and dips to
compliment your meal, the food combinations and flavours work very well
together in both the raw salads and in the hot foods, we recommend trying the
Mushroom stroganoff which has a rich earthy flavour in a sweet warm sauce.
If you have a sweet tooth there are desserts available
from the dessert stand next to the mains, they have a nice variety of cupcakes,
Brownies, large slice cakes and truffle balls, these are individually priced and
labelled to show dietary options.
