Ambiance/Atmosphere
2/5
We were welcomed warmly into this very busy and slightly confusing restaurant. Upon being seated we were handed very out- dated menus, one of which had food stuck to it, as well as plastic glasses and plates which were reminiscent of a school dinner!,It’s a busy, stylish but slightly confusing restaurant/café/buffet/takeaway/shop

Customer Service

Our waitress for the evening took quite some time to offer drinks and explain the best parts of the menu, we opted for the buffet style in the end because it was a rather confusing menu - that was the last we saw of her.

Food and Drink
3/5

The food and drink was from the buffet , we spoke to the manager about ingredients and cuisine and she explained that it was Indian / Chinese street style food and how to eat it with accompanying sauces. Some great flavours and texture, the buffet had a great choice of spicy and sweet dishes as well as pizza for children - it wasn’t a buffet style we’ve had before but the standard was acceptable.

Sakonis was a change from other Indian restaurants but with some downsides and rather odd choices of tableware it's not somewhere we would choose to return to. There are more than five other Indian restaurants on the street, providing immediate competition, I would expect better quality overall.
