Unitard in Vertical Multicoloured Stripe by Motel Rocks
As summer swiftly approaches and festivals begin to start
looming, you’re in search for the perfect ‘it’ outfit for your wardrobe. With
bright colours and bold prints on the rise for this season’s trend, the
multicoloured striped unitard will guarantee you to stand out, make a statement
and turn heads at any event!
It’s all about rainbow stripes this season! I just can’t get
enough of this colourfully chaotic unitard with a scoop neck, deep plunge back,
thick straps and bodycon fit. You can style it with chunky sandals, biker
boots, or even western boots and accessorise with a fringed leather bag for
maximum style points! I like to style mine with really chunky patent leather
platform boots. The pair I’m wearing in the pictures are from LAMODA. www.lamoda.co.uk
I’ve worn this unitard at a local music and arts festival
one year, “Village Green Festival”. And almost every single person stopped me
to either ask where it was from or that I looked great in it. It filled me with
so much confidence, it made me feel really fierce! I wore my unitard in an ‘XS’
size and I found it to be so comfortable and can slip on and off really easily
(especially in those pesky toilet breaks!).
What I love about bodycon is that it extenuates my curves
(my hips and posterior), giving me a gorgeous silhouette. Plus, the additional
benefit of the vertical stripes gives the illusion of elongated legs. The deep
plunged back adds an element of sexiness without revealing too much flesh. As
another added bonus, this edgy striped unitard fits in perfectly with any LGBTQ
Pride Week events.
“Be bold, be bright, be brave, but most importantly – be
YOU!”
A little bit about Motel Rocks (in their words):
“Born from a love of
vintage fashion, Motel is the must-have label for girls who want unique, edgy
and eclectic additions to their wardrobe that are guaranteed to make an impact!
Established in the late 90s, Motel was created after the brand founders set out
on a road trip of freedom, discovery and fun across the west coast of America.
Inspired by the indie vintage shops and various thrift stores dotted along the
Californian coastline, the Motel designers set about bringing these looks to
the British consumer and carved a unique niche in the marketplace. Fifteen years
later and Motel is now a leading Brit fashion label renowned for offering
unique prints, form-fitting silhouettes and trend-setting styles that are loved
by fashionistas, style icons and celebrities around the globe.”
