AMBIENCE
The much-anticipated Veggie Pret, finally
opened its doors to the hungry vegan and vegetarians that held Pret to ransom
for more of their veggie treat, located on Broadwick, just around the corn from Oxford
Circus.
The café was like most Prets, a basic
layout of tables and food on stands and in fridges, the only different was that
the signs are green and you guessed it, everything was vegetarian and vegan ,
the café was rather busy, but being lunch time and this area of London it was
to be expected, but customer service was good, quick and efficient..
FOOD
Veggie Pret had everything you would be
expecting including soups, rolls and salads in veggie and vegan options, although
there was a great variety we would the food was lacking as many vegan option,
as dairy was used in a lot of them, but veggie pret was made to get feedback on
products and changes that need to be made so it is understandable, we grabbed a falafel wrap and tofu salad , the food was pretty standard , but still had a
nice taste, was quick and filling, and we washed it down with some kombucha and
coconut water.
Over all it’s great place for a quick
lunch and it’s nice to see bigger cafes and restaurants provide more options
for veggies and vegans
