We didn't get a chance to meet the two "Arancini Brothers" behind the restaurant, however the staff there were absolutely brilliant at welcoming us to the establishment and helping us choose what to order. They helped us easily distinguish between what was suitable for veggies and vegans and were more than happy to offer their advice on the food we chose to order. Very attentive, kind and up beat additionally the service was fast.

The entire menu is based around deep fried, flavorful risotto balls; you can have them by themselves or incorporated into a wrap, sandwich, salad or stew. Meat dishes are available to accompany the risotto balls in certain meals however the meat is not the focus of the food.
We ordered three meals to share between the two of us; the classic risotto balls and salad, a wrap and the vegan burger. The risotto balls came in two flavors suitable for veggies and vegans; one being the courgette and mushroom balls and the other the original risotto balls which also contain mozzarella. We had two of each along with a beautiful fresh and vibrant salad of greens, diced raw veggies, grated carrot, butter beans and seeds topped with a light vinaigrette. The risotto balls also came in wrap form, this consisted of the vegan risotto balls and crunchy crisp salad wrapped in a flour tortilla. Both of these options were delicious, filling and satisfying, generously portioned and well presented. The varied salad is a particularly lovely accompaniment to the risotto balls and a real step up from the usual side salad of some sad looking leaves topped with a bit of sliced tomato you usually find to accompany your meal.
The stand out meal was undoubtedly the vegan burger. A fresh organic soft bread bun encased a delicious deep fried vegan risotto ball patty; this was crowned with a glorious topping of sweet onion jam, crispy onion and eggplant tomato sauce. Wow! This was a real vegan burger with a difference, a complete taste and texture triumph on this one-the sweet onion, the crispy savoury patty all in a soft bun-delish!
For drinks there was a good selection of hot and cold beverages and all your usual coffee's can be veganised as there is the option of soy milk. The mocha coffee was rich, tasty and most importantly served piping hot.
For sweet and dessert options there was a beautiful display of cakes and bakes including gluten free options, however there was nothing suitable for vegans on this occasion.
Tasty "junk food" veggie and vegan options and one of the best vegan burgers around. A really nice casual low-key eatery that manages to cater well for meat eaters and veggies alike, definitely worth a trip if you're around Kentish Town! Great people, well priced and tasty food.
