Ambiance/Atmosphere
4/5
Really funky laid back atmosphere set in a double decker bus this is really an experience as well as a meal out. It is a short walk from Bethnal green station and location in a car park with a large screen that the owners said they were hoping to show films on as we approach the spring/summer months. Not for you if you are looking for a fine dining experience, but it doesn't claim to be and has a great vibe and lovely atmosphere none the less.
Customer Service :

This is a family business run by a mother and son team who are originally from Italy. What came across most about the pair behind this place, is there passion for ethical veganism and tasty, good quality food at a reasonable price. There is table service provided and Fabio is more than happy to explain the menu and give any recommendations if your stuck for choice.

Fabio was kind enough to offer a selection of dishes for us to really get to try a range of the what they have to offer. We started with some Panelle, polenta, falafel and hummus. All was very tasty an generously portioned, it was also accompanied by home-made mayonnaise which was some of the best vegan mayo I have had the pleasure of trying, The food was served hot, presented well and full of flavour. For the mains, we had a selection of lasagna and Sicilian pizza. The lasagna was incredibly good with a delicious fresh bolegnese and convincing vegan cheese sauce. Sicilian pizza resembles a Calzone and is equally enjoyable coming in two flavours (mushroom and spinach & broccoli and cheese), made with freshly baked bread base. The food was all very filling but what stood out the most was how fresh and unique all the food was. You could really tell it was made by scratch with great ingredients. We had the tiramisu to finish which was as rich, creamy and decadent as I had hoped, once again beautifully presented and generously portioned- this is a definite must try if you visit! We just had some water to accompany our meal however there is a full license and beers, wines and spirits are available.
Great atmosphere, lovely people and incredible food for super cheap! Real gem located in East London and a must try for all vegans and non- vegans alike as. Can't wait to pop back in the summer as I can imagine it will be very lively and fun especially with the screen showing films and the space full of people tucking into there tasty cruelty free food. A real one to keep an eye on, we think this place is going to continue to grow in popularity over the next few months!
