Whiskey by the Loch
The Loch Fyne Blend is made by mixing malt whisky with grain whisky at different points in the production process. It's called by the name of the place where it was first made. The Loch Fyne brand was named after a famous lake in Scotland that is known for having crystal-clean water. After the blend is made, the whisky is put into wooden barrels to get its unique taste. The whisky is made using distillation methods that have been around for a long time, and the ageing process gives it a unique taste, as with most distilleries, the details of how it is made are a closely guarded secret, but everyone knows that it is made up of only the best malt and grain whisky that are currently available. Whiskies are chosen by hand and then mixed together to make a taste that is silky smooth and has a rich flavour profile. After that, the whisky is stored in wood barrels for at least three years to let the taste develop and become more complex.
The whisky has a smokey aroma, but it's not too strong, and the taste is rich and sweet. A hint of heat is also there. Several awards, including a gold prize from the International Wine and Spirits Competition, have been given to the mix of ingredients because of the great taste it makes.
If you want a whisky that truly has a good balance of tones that is mild and easygoing, while being great for sipping on its own as well as making some of your favourite cocktails, then this is a great choice for those starting out in this category of spirits. Its versatility also makes it a good ingredient in a wide range of drinks.
