I used to work at moss bros, which is a menswear shop specifically for formal attire and loved learning about the “tailor me” which is a service offered by moss Bros which has made it far simpler and easier to get a custom-tailored suit, which means that within a month you can have an affordable custom suit.
My outfit is my modern twist on a classic three-piece,
I went half-canvas so it would last longer, I wanted a suit that would be
appropriate in the evening and the colder season’s hence why I went with the Savoy
Tailors Guild charcoal fine twill woolen fabric offered in the tailor me
service.
Although the lining of a jacket is hardly seen unless taken off,
the benefit of getting the waistcoat not only is it lower in price with tailor
me but it also allows you to show the lining of your jacket as the back of the
waistcoat’s is the same. That is why I went with the gold cheetah lining which
I think looks exquisite, I also went with blazer gold buttons to compliment the
lining.
The little details matter, so when choosing the styling of my jacket, I chose to have a standard lapel size, a middle vent for the back of the jacket, I wanted my sleeve lining to be fully lined as it was to be used for colder seasons, and naturally, I had my surname as the monogram inside my jacket.
It fits like a glove and is one of those suits that makes
me feel good, it’s my answer to most if not all dinner date’s I go on, instead
of worrying about going over the top or worrying about being underdressed I
put this on with a pair of black shoes a good white shirt and I’m set, I’d like
to think that its shows that I take pride in my appearance and that I'm
confident in what I wear.
